Terms of sale
Effective November 2026
These terms apply to every order placed at shop.billypugh.com. By placing an order you agree to them.
1. Seller
Products are sold by Billy Pugh Company, LLC ("BPC"), 5878 Agnes Street, Corpus Christi, Texas 78406, USA. Questions: [email protected] or +1 361-884-9351.
2. Orders
Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we ship it. We may cancel an order and refund it in full before shipping, for example if a product is unavailable, a price or description was listed in error, or an order cannot be verified. Online orders are limited to 5 tools and to delivery addresses in the United States. For larger quantities, export orders or reseller pricing, please request a quote.
3. Prices, tax and payment
Prices are in US dollars and are charged as shown at checkout. Sales tax is added at checkout where it applies. Payment is taken in full when you order and is processed by Stripe; we never receive or store your card number. Tax-exempt and reseller purchases are not handled online; please request a quote.
4. Shipping, delivery and risk
Orders ship from Corpus Christi, Texas, by UPS Ground, normally within 3 to 5 business days. Delivery dates are estimates. Risk of loss passes to you on delivery. Please inspect your order when it arrives and tell us within 10 days if anything is missing, wrong or damaged in transit, with photos if possible. 5. Returns
Unused tools in original condition may be returned within 30 days of delivery. Contact us first for a return authorization and instructions; returns sent without one may be refused. Return shipping is paid by you unless the item arrived damaged or defective or we sent the wrong item. We refund the original payment method after we receive and inspect the return. 6. Limited warranty
BPC warrants that each Stiffy tool will be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use for 12 months from the date of delivery. If a tool fails because of such a defect, contact us within the warranty period. We will repair or replace the tool, or if neither is practical, refund the price you paid for it. Replacement tools are covered for the rest of the original warranty period.
This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear; damage from misuse, accident, prying, lifting, overloading, modification, chemicals or fire; or use contrary to the operating instructions supplied with the tool.
THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS THE ONLY WARRANTY BPC GIVES FOR PRODUCTS SOLD ON THIS STORE. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BPC DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. Some states do not allow limits on implied warranties, so this limit may not apply to you.
7. Proper use
Stiffy tools are designed to guide and position suspended loads from a safe distance and to keep hands away from pinch points. They are not pry bars and are not lifting devices, and they do not replace a lift plan, tag lines or a qualified rigger. Users must read and follow the operating instructions supplied with each tool, inspect the tool before each use and remove a damaged tool from service. You are responsible for selecting a tool suitable for your work and for training the people who use it.
8. Limitation of liability
TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BPC IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST PRODUCTION OR DOWNTIME, ARISING FROM ANY ORDER OR PRODUCT. BPC'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO AN ORDER SHALL NOT EXCEED THE PRICE PAID FOR THE PRODUCT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for personal injury caused by our negligence, or any rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived.
9. Export
Products bought on this store are for use in the United States. You may not export them in violation of US export control or sanctions laws.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Nueces County, Texas, unless the law of your state of residence gives you the right to bring a consumer claim where you live.
11. Changes
We may update these terms for future orders. The terms posted when you place your order apply to that order.
